The workshop “Urban Spaces in Flux: The Concept of Healthy and Sustainable Cities in West Asia and the Arabian Peninsula”, organised by CARPO with Gulf Architecture Centre, has taken place in Bonn on 5th and 6th March 2024. The organisation brought together individuals from academia, business, urban planning, architecture, arts and culture, medicine, and NGOs from the WAAP region to explore the challenges and opportunities for regional cooperation towards healthier and more sustainable cities.
Claudia Briguglio contributed to the discussion on urban development in heritage settings and cultural identities in the context of a broader conversation about policy guidance, community participation and interregional cooperation.
